While in California this past month, I had the opportunity to shoot a California Destruction Derby. It´s one of the great summer fair pastimes enjoyed throughout the USA which consists of smashing your car into the other cars on the field and the last one running wins the prize. We were scouting this amazing location for an upcoming shoot, but sadly it was turned down by the client. It´s an abandoned racetrack close to Barcelona, with great light. I am so itching to shoot something in the coming weeks here. Any suggestions?

These images are from a portrait assignment I shot in India for the HT Times about the Tata Nano and reprinted last week as a in a special edition of the newspaper. It was the kind of project that you never forget. To visit and spend a few hours with each family and to get to know their story and a little about their lives was an experience I will always remember.

October Nissan NV200 & NV400

In October we did a real quick, (and real long) day shoot of the new Nissan NV200 and NV400. Thanks to some quick organizing it came together without a problem. Thanks to Gustavo at Prologis for loaning us the empty warehouse for these pictures. I love the hachet style shadow underneath the NV400!

Another year, another Tomatina.

Seems I have found a hobby in shooting La Tomantina in Buñol Spain. For the second year in a row I head down to the small village where each year they celebrate the tomato fight in the streets of the city centre. It lasts all of 2 hours, but they are the most intense two hours of you life, especially if you´re taking along you photo equipment! These portraits represent an entirely different way to portray what you´ll find there compared to what I did last year. Hopefully I can get you to come with me next year.

December always get you thinking of how the year went for you, and thinking back I´d have to but this photoshoot in the top 10. This is from the spring, but still one of my favorite projects of 2010. A big thanks to great first time model, Karl. The shoot was done here in Barcelona and the new City of Justice Complex. We had a great time and I´m glad that the images were so well received.
