In July I had an assignment for Intersection Magazine in Moscow. I spent three nights listening to squealing tires, and smelling burnt rubber as these driver raced around the Kremlin from a 12 to 4am.
It´s just be published in the first edition of the Russian Edition. Thanks to all that helped, especially Farida of Veterfilms in Moscow for doing all the contacts.
While in California this past month, I had the opportunity to shoot a California Destruction Derby. It´s one of the great summer fair pastimes enjoyed throughout the USA which consists of smashing your car into the other cars on the field and the last one running wins the prize. Here´s a link to the gallery on my website.
These images are from a portrait assignment I shot in India for the HT Times about the Tata Nano and reprinted last week as a in a special edition of the newspaper. It was the kind of project that you never forget. To visit and spend a few hours with each family and to get to know their story and a little about their lives was an experience I will always remember.
